New Features and Enhanced Functionality make Publisher the ‘Solution of Choice’ for Newspapers looking for performance and efficiency in a CMS solution
Falmouth, ME (February 6, 2012) — Celsius Technology Group, a leader in open platform, multichannel publishing solutions for the print media industry, today announced its plans for the New England Newspaper & Press Association (NENPA) 2012 Convention and Trade show.
At booth #31, Celsius will introduce the expanded features and functionality that make Celsius Publisher a robust content management, workflow and publishing platform for multichannel publishers looking for a consolidated solution for print, web and mobile devices. Celsius is an open platform solution that requires nothing more than a web browser to access, and creates a universal platform allowing news organizations to better manage and distribute enormous amounts of information for print and online vehicles.
Celsius Publisher enables newspapers to redefine the way they do business by opening up new revenue streams through innovative modules such as classifieds, coupons and provides an advertising network for advertisers. The open platform supports streaming video, audio, polls, photo galleries, social media, a search feature and mobile formats. “We developed “Publisher” so that companies could easily and affordably maintain a dynamic web presence,” said Chief Web Officer and Co-founder Adam Kempler. “Celsius Publisher allows news organizations to take advantage of new and evolving reader consumption and interaction habits, distribution methods, and enhanced monetization opportunities.”
Celsius Chief Web Officer Featured Speaker at NENPA
Celsius Co-founder and Chief Web Officer Adam Kempler will be a featured speaker during the conference on Saturday at 3:45 p.m. Kempler’s session entitled, “Creating New Revenue Streams from Your Online Content,” will be co-presented with SunMedia Group New Media Director Anthony Ronzio. The session will present new ways publishers can monetize the different types of content they already offer. Attendees will come away with new ways to integrate, extend and monetize news, events, calendars, galleries, directories, classifieds, obituaries and even the weather. The session will also look at targeting online ads based on consumption, behavioral targeting and geo targeting.
Accompanying Publisher is a companion system known as Pipeline, which provides a platform for sharing news stories, photos, audio, video and other relevant content from participating news organizations, content creators, blogs and other content-sharing networks. Additionally, members can search and download content from Pipeline to use in their own web and print publications.
